Founded by Nicklaus Jones, Founder and Creative Director of Pledge Party Apparel, The Krimson was born from a desire to create something different from the run-of-the-mill paraphernalia shop. As a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. with 25 years in the Bond, Jones saw an opportunity to honor the legacy of Kappa Alpha Psi while pushing Nupe style into a new space—one rooted in fashion, storytelling, exclusivity, and culture.
Born in Mississippi and shaped by more than 20 years of living in New York City, Jones brings together Southern heritage, fraternity tradition, and the editorial energy of New York fashion. His vision for The Krimson was never just to sell apparel. It was to build a private world where Divine Nine members could experience paraphernalia in a way that felt elevated, personal, and unforgettable.
The Krimson is secretly located in New York City, making it the only private Divine Nine shopping experience of its kind. There is no public storefront, no casual walk-in traffic, and no address listed for the world to see. The location is revealed only one day before your appointment, turning every visit into an invitation—an intimate experience reserved for those who understand the value of legacy, style, and access.
While The Krimson currently focuses on Kappa Alpha Psi paraphernalia through Pledge Party Apparel, the vision reaches across the entire Divine Nine. The brand also creates custom apparel concepts for the fraternities and sororities under the Divine Nine umbrella, with each design approached through the lens of history, symbolism, presentation, and fashion-forward creativity.
